Fadillah, Rivai, Rizki Law Office (FRR Law Office) was established in 2004 initiated by Dr. Fadillah Agus (RIP), Anhar Rivai, S.H. and Dr. Rudi M. Rizki (RIP)
Law firm with international orientation and network, dedicated and specialized in producing dynamic result – oriented legal services. FRR Law Office have specification in International Humanitarian Law and Human Right law.
FRR is dealing with various issues in the fields of both national law and international law general practices. We Provide services in the areas of the law of infrastructure law, contract law (national and international), land law, banking law, civil law, criminal law, international criminal law, human rights law, international humanitarian law, etc.
Since 2004 conduct various education programs and capacity building in the defense and security sector in relation to Human Rights, International Humanitarian Law.
The FRR Law Office was established with a vision to improve the application of IHRL and IHL principles and standards in practice. The FRR Law Office is a unique law firm with specific expertise in international human rights law, international humanitarian law and international criminal law. As one of the few organizations involved in IHL capacity building programs for Indonesian Armed Forces, the FRR Law Office has helped the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) in developing its legal comprehension, training manuals, policies and rules of engagement on the implementation of IHRL and IHL in military operations.
Prevention of torture is an important area for FRR Law Office. One of the measures that States can undertake is ensuring its law enforcement officials apply an interview method that is consistent with human rights standards. Thus, together with its international partner, the NCHR, FRR Law Office has trained hundreds of Indonesian police officers on scientific-based interviewing techniques in line with the Mendez Principles on Effective Interviewing for Investigations and Information Gathering. The effort is on-going.

FOUNDER
Dr. Fadillah Agus (RIP)
Former Legal Advisor for the ICRC Delegation in Jakarta, in which he gained extensive experience & relations with the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) as well as other Government agencies & NGOs (national and international).
During his time in ICRC, Fadillah was appointed to be the ICRC delegate in Batticaloa, Sri Lanka where he worked on the issue of tracking the missing persons in armed conflict.
Fadillah received his Doctoral Degree from Padjajaran University, Bandung in 2011.
Anhar Rivai, S.H.
Former Senior Lawyer from the Legal Aid Society of Indonesia (YLBHI) who have a wide range of knowledge and experiences in both private and criminal law. Anhar’s specialty is infrastructure law.
Before joining FRR, Anhar was the Head of Legal & Public Relation of PT. JasaMarga and the Finance Director of Jakarta Outer Ring Road Company.
Anhar also one of the Senior Partners in Widyawan& Partners in Jakarta. Currently Anhar is also one of the Partners in Rivai, Triprasetyo and partnerin Jakarta.
Dr. Rudi M. Rizki (RIP)
Rudi has an extensive experience as Human Rights lecturer at Padjajaran University, Bandung. His fields of expertise among others were international law, human rights, environment law and IHL.
Rudi was one of the Judges at the Ad Hoc Human Rights Court for East Timor & Tanjung Priok. He was also appointed to be the UN Independent Expert on Human Rights & International Solidarity.
Rudi received his Doctoral Degree from Padjajaran University in 2011 shortly before he passed away from lung cancer in December 2011.

Farhat M. Adibrata
Farhat M. Adibrata, S.H., M.H. is an Indonesian lawyer specializes in criminal law, international human rights law and international humanitarian law with more than 10 years of experience. His master thesis is on the Application of the Presumption of Innocence Principle in Indonesia.
His professional experience allows him to practice law as well as to contribute in capacity building programs for Indonesian military (TNI) and police personnel (POLRI). This put him in a unique and uncommon position amongst Indonesian lawyers and legal practitioners since he understands the intricacies of the decision making process in the two institutions. Farhat M. Adibrata has exemplary managerial and organization skills necessary from his experience working with local and international partners.

Dr. Rully Sandra
After years of interaction with FRR Law Office, Dr. Rully Sandra has finally become FRR’s Of Counsel. In her own words, her proudest achievement has been her recovery as a brain tumor survivor while at the same time completing her doctoral program cum laude.
The focus of her dissertation is on improvement of labor conditions in oil palm plantations as viewed from the UNGPs on Business and Human Rights. Her areas of expertise are in business and human rights, international human rights law, international humanitarian law and project management. She has extensive experience in the non-profit sector in Indonesia and has been actively disseminating business and human rights discourse since 2011.
